Ironman 2019

The Busselton Ironman is one of the biggest events of the year in the South West region and is recognised globally as a world class sporting event. Competitors come from all over the world to showcase their athleticism, talent, perseverance and determination in a spectacular event consisting of run, swim and bike legs. Starting at the iconic Busselton Jetty and continuing along the coastline and through the beautiful Tuart Forrest, the course gives spectators the opportunity to show their support whilst enjoying some of the best scenery the South West has to offer. The atmosphere is something that needs to be experienced to be believed as thousands of visitors and locals alike gather together to cheer on these amazing athletes.

Let's Go Surfing - Disabled Surfers

When: Saturday 7 December 2019, Sunday 16 February 2020 & Saturday 7 March 2020

Where: Bunker's Bay Beach, Dunsborough

Disabled Surfers Association (DSA) is an non-profit organisation that aims to provide a fun, safe and dignified surfing experience to individuals with a variety of disabilities. You don't need to have any surfing experience to be a volunteer. DSA is always looking for volunteers to help, both in and out of the water and the more helpers the merrier. What a great way to spend a sunny summer day, beach, BBQ and a whole lot of smiles.

Carols By The Jetty - 'Christmas for the Naughty and Nice'

When: Saturday 14 December 2019, 6pm - 8pm

Where: Busselton Amphitheater, Foreshore Parade, Busselton

Christmas is a time to come together and celebrate as a family and a community. Enjoy choir performances, prizes, sing-alongs and interactive community involvement at the brand new Busselton Amphitheatre opposite the iconic Busselton Jetty. With visits from the wise men and their camels and of course Santa himself, sausage sizzle, fairy floss and free lolly bags the night is set to be full of excitement and cheer.

Busselton Trotting Club

When: Every Sunday night in December

Where: Churchill Park, 71 Adelaide Street, Busselton

The Busselton Trotting Club provides a fun evening of entertainment for the whole family. Food and drinks for sale (can't go past the freshly made doughnuts), a range of prizes to be won and much more. Enjoy a relaxing night out with family and friends, place a punt or two or just sit back and soak in the great atmosphere.
