The Whales have arrived in Geographe Bay

August 27, 2018

From September through to December, whales use the tranquil deep blue waters of Geographe Bay as a nursery, playground and rest haven during their migration up and down the coast.  Geographe Bay is their last resting area before the long swim south to Arctic waters.

You can conveniently step onboard one of the Tour Boats that leave daily from either the Busselton Jetty or Port Geographe Marina, and witness the enormity and grace of a whale for yourself upclose and personal. Or visit Cape Naturaliste and you maybe able to sight these amazing creatures from the shore or the top of the lighthouse.
