The X Adventure Race is set to make the water and dust fly as competitors race in the off road triathlon.
After a great event in 2013 attracting nearly 1,500 competitors the X Adventure Race is on again. Described as an off-road triathlon, there is an ocean swim, trail and coast run and the mountain bike leg to finish.
There are three courses to select from-
Kids Course, 200 metre swim, 2.5 kilometre run, 4.0 kilometre ride
Short Course, 700 metre swim, 6.0 kilometre run, 11.5 kilometre ride
Long Course, 1,500 metre swim, 12.5 kilometre run, 25kilometre ride
There is still time to enter on line, but get in quick! Entries are open to male and female individuals and teams.
Saturday 12.30pm will see the wave start of the Short Course race. Organisers expect the race winner to cross the line about one and half hours from the start. The Kids Course will start at 4.30pm.
The Long Course wave starts commence at 8.00am on Sunday the 23rd of March and is designed to challenge even the fastest competitors for two and a half hours or more.
The Event Expo and Kids Entertainment will be going from 11.00am to 5.30pm on Saturday and from 9.00am to 1.00pm on Sunday.
