Relay for Life will be held at Churchill Park from 11am on Saturday the 5th of April to 11am on Sunday the 6th of April. Get a team together and get involved with this 24 hour fundraiser for the Cancer Council.
A unique fundraising event, Relay for Life works in bringing the community together in the fight against cancer. The event is for those who may have lost a loved one to cancer, cancer survivors, anyone who may be affected by the disease and everyone who wants to create awareness and help raise funds for the Cancer Council.
The Cancer Council strives for a cancer-free future. By being involved in Relay for Life you can contribute to the cause and show your encouragement for those whose lives have been touched by cancer. You can register a team to take part in the Relay or volunteer in the other areas of the event. Find out how at the Cancer Council website.
Since the first Relay event in 2001, the Cancer Council has raised over $14 million dollars with the Relay for Life alone. Head on down to Churchill Park on Adelaide Street from 11.00am on Saturday the 5th to 11.00am on Sunday the 6th of April to show your support for this wonderful event for an even better cause!
