The path way linking Busselton and Dunsborough is nearing completion. Hopefully we can all be riding, walking, running or scooting our way from Busselton to Dunsborough early next year. What a great day out!
Keen cyclists and pedestrians will soon be able to use this path to safely make their way between the two towns without needing to travel along the very busy Caves Road.
The path way winds through bushland, along the beachfront and adjacent to Caves Road. It is a smooth hotmix surface and is mostly flat, ideal for prams and wheelchairs.
Works have started on the 45 metre bridge to span Toby Inlet, connecting the two existing paths. Fingers are crossed that locals and visitors to the area will have the pleasure of wandering the completed path early next year.
This will mean that our beautiful cycle path will soon stretch for over 30 kilometres all the way from Port Geographe to Dunsborough taking in some magical views and with lots of great spots to stop to take a few photos, go for a swim or rest up and refuel with a coffee and cake!
Don’t forget, Mandalay offers adult bikes for hire, some with a child carry seat. Bike hire is available to Mandalay in house guests only. Just see reception during your stay.
