The Festival of Busselton started in 1964, aimed at making visitors to region more welcome, and offer plenty of activities to do during summer. The programme is jam-packed with events and activities. Whether you’re interested in arts and crafts, sporting events, or live entertainment; there is something for everyone.

The Festival is made up of many events including a float parade, free community concert, children’s treasure hunt, sandcastle competition, fireworks, street markets and more.

Oz Rock Busselton is back on Saturday January 16th, 2016 on Barnard Park, with another fabulous line-up of great Australian music artists seen on the one bill. This time once the sun has set we welcome Music Hall of Famers Hoodoo Gurus to headline a great line-up of Australian talent.

Busselton Jetty Swim

The premier ocean swim around the iconic Busselton Jetty, in the south west of Western Australia. Since 1996, the Busselton Jetty Swim has grown from a local event to an internationally recognized event attracting in excess of 1200 competitors.

The Busselton Jetty Swim event takes place over 2 days with entertainment, activities and family-friendly fun, with the swim taking place on the Sunday morning.

The course is a swim of 3.6 km around the Busselton Jetty. Solos and relay teams of two and four are welcome. Be a part of the atmosphere and enter the best jetty swim in the world.

Surfers Point in Prevelly is the home of the event with all three surf breaks visible to patrons. Mainbreak is the main event arena, with Southsides also available; however the notorious and hollow, shallow reef barrel of The Box is the newest addition to the event and the organisers are all excited to see what happens when the surfers tackle this tricky break.

The top 32 ranked male and top 18 ranked female surfers in the world will descend upon the Margaret River Region to surf its world-class waves in April.

The event is expected to see thousands of spectators flock to Surfer’s Point in Prevelly to watch the world’s best surfer’s take on the famous Margaret River Mainbreak, and an unprecedented level of media attention will showcase the event to the rest of the world.

This was a community project, sponsored by the local Lions Club to celebrate the local dairy industry and the town’s love of all things cow! Deja Moo is the “birthday” of these new Cowaramup residents and everyone is invited to join in the fun.

The Cape to Cape MTB is a four day mountain bike race through the south west of WA, it is one of WA’s most successful home-grown events, having gone from inception to the nation’s largest multi-stage mountain bike race in just five years.

It is now a permanent fixture on the world’s MTB calendar and attracts an enviable field of elite and recreational riders. Augusta Adventure Fest

Already recognised as the World’s largest adventure race with over 3,300 competitors across the weekend, this year it’s only going to get bigger and better! *Formally known as the Anaconda Adventure Series.


Competitors will take in the wilderness and untouched landscapes in and around Augusta in the south west of Western Australia. There’s rocky headlands, tranquil ocean reefs alive with (friendly) fish; Paddlers explore Hardy Inlet and out into the (protected parts) of the Southern Ocean; Mountain Bike sections sweeping through inland forests along single tracks that could be certified as a fun park.
