Remember the ANZAC’s on Friday the 25th of April 2014.
The 25th of April each year is when we commemorate the day that the soldiers of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corp (the ANZACs) landed on the beach at Gallipoli in 1915. Over 8,000 Australian soldiers were killed in the eight month campaign that followed.
On ANZAC Day we remember not only those lives lost at Gallipoli, but all of the lives of the men and women who have served and fought for the protection of our great country and its allies.
A Dawn Service will be held in Busselton at the War Memorial in Victoria Square on the corner of Queen Street and Albert Street. This will be followed by a gunfire breakfast at the RSL Hall on Causeway Road. The main ANZAC Service will be at 10.00am, also at the War Memorial.
