The southwest corner of Western Australia has been experiencing some beautiful weather over the past few weeks. In Busselton we the temperature hasn’t dropped below 27°C since January which has made perfect weather for holidaying and exploring our fantastic region.

The Labour Day Long weekend has been a busy three days here at Mandalay. The park has been full to the brim with families having a brief escape to tide them over until the Easter break.

It has been an interesting few days here at Mandalay. Friday and Saturday saw the end of the school holidays and a mass exodus of kids, cars, caravans, bikes, boats, scooters, jet skis… the list could go on.

The 2 hour drive from Perth to Busselton is beautiful at this time of year with lots of wildflowers flowering and showing their beauty. A sea of yellow is from the Wattle trees blooming and then you have the splash of pink Myrtle, red Kangaroo Paws and white Arum Lilies.

Cruise through Geographe bay to catch a glimpse of Humpback whales, Southern Right Whales, and the rare Blue and Minke Whales (seasonal). Other Marine life such as Bottlenose and common dolphins and sea birds may also be spotted during your cruise.

Born on the 11th of July at 8.29am, Nicole and Brad are proud to announce the birth of their daughter. Weighing 6pound 14oz and measuring 49cm long.
