The Labour Day Long weekend has been a busy three days here at Mandalay. The park has been full to the brim with families having a brief escape to tide them over until the Easter break.
The park didn’t know what had hit it, with the quiet streets from February returning to being bustling with bikes and scooters, the bouncy pillow being packed with kids each day and families enjoying a dip in our two pools. The movie night was popular once again, with the crowd in the games room enjoying a screening of “Despicable Me”.
Busselton was also very busy, with trips on the Jetty train and tours of the Underwater Observatory filling up very quickly. It has been perfect weather, even with the nice cool change on Sunday. The restaurants and cafes were also busy, and the warm, clear water in Geographe Bay at the moment (almost 25oC) made perfect conditions for lazy days at the beach.
Until the 19th of April, Mandalay has a three night mid-week special running in our accommodation. Give our reception a call if you would like to come and enjoy all that Busselton and surrounds has to offer during this beautiful time of the year.
There also are still vacancies in both sites and accommodation for the April School Holidays. There is a five night minimum for accommodation and a seven night minimum for the sites during the first week of the school holidays. During the second week of the holidays there is a five night minimum on both sites and accommodation. Please enquire at our reception if you would like to come for a Mandalay getaway in April!
