CinéfestOZ, Busselton’s International Film Festival comes to town in August.

CinéfestOZ is a major event on Busselton’s calendar.  From August 24^th to the 28^th the festival showcases the very best of both French and Australian film makers, and celebrates the historic harmonics of French influences on our southwest corner of the state.  All films shown at CinéfestOZ have either a French or Australian link.   

 

Each year CinéfestOZ brings new and exciting films to Busselton, many that have never been shown and feature talent that otherwise go unseen.  This year’s festival will screen the largest number of films in its four year history.  There is something for everyone during the festival, films to intrigue the young, entertain families and enchant all lovers of film.  The programme includes thirteen new Australian films and seven French films, some of which are premieres for both WA and Australia. In addition to the films, festival goers have the opportunity to attend gala and premiere events, charity screenings, live music, a director’s lunch and filmmaker question and answer sessions.
